2002 August 19th : Jim Chiou at UCI

My friend Jim Chiou (UCI ICS) had the idea of
recording video of lectures at UCI, and then selling
the recordings on CD-ROM to students who missed class
or students who wanted review material or wanted to
avoid taking notes during class.

Jim's friend Dave and I helped Jim set up equipment
and do some test recordings with the digital video
camera and the wireless microphone and DAT recorder.

After getting a job, Jim lost interest in this 
project, but it was an interesting evening.
